The Runemarked Origin is for sorcerers who derive their power from sigils inscribed upon their skin - whether arcane tattoos, inborn marks, or strange experimentation.

The Runemarked sorcerer is focused on the idea of having arcane power inscribed on your body. That raises the prospect of more flexibility than a sorcerer whose magic lives within their blood - runemarks can be erased, changed, and revised. Accordingly, the Runemarked gets some features that function a bit more like wizardly preparation.

Inscribed Spells takes the place of an ordinary origin spells list — instead of 10 known spells, you get 5 prepared spells from across the entire sorcerer list (1 at each level). Runic Intuition gives you some limited boosts to your Arcana skill. Runemarks are your core feature, giving a number of new abilities that trigger alongside your normal spellcasting (they scale with proficiency bonus, as if for a single-classed sorcerer). Deal extra damage with fire, control enemies with ice and lightning, or reinforce allies with stone. Runic Transference at 6th lets you share your runemarks to your allies, and Intricate Runemarks grants you access to an additional four options. Enhanced Inscription at 14th lets you trigger one runemark at greatly amplified power. And Runic Surge lets you surf on your runic power, gaining additional benefits anytime you trigger a runemark.
